 Shore Transit changes regarding Greyhound service

Effective February 22, 2023 Shore Transit will no longer serve as a Greyhound Terminal and will no longer sell Greyhound tickets. Additionally, Shore Transit does not serve the new Greyhound bus stop at Phillip Morris Dr. For more information about Greyhound bus service and ticket purchases, please visit the Greyhound website at www.greyhound.com.

 Public Hearing Presentation Available for Viewing

On May 30, 2023, Shore Transit provided citizens with an opportunity to comment on proposed changes to Fixed Route and Origin to Destination services during a midday and evening Public Hearing. To view a .pdf of the presentation, visit the Recent News section on our homepage. Shore Transit will continue to receive Public Comment through Friday, June 2, 2023. Information outlining how to submit Public Comment is also available in the Recent News section on our homepage.

Service Alerts

Service Alerts will be posted here and on the Home Page for Weather Emergencies and Changes in Service due to Road Conditions. You can also sign up to get alerts via SMS message or email by subscribing to the right.

 

Types of Alerts

Weather Emergencies
Snow: The determination of a closure will be made as soon as possible; 3 – 6 hours before the next service day. Closures will also be announced on the local TV stations.

Rain & Flooding: Temporary service changes or cancellations will be determined and updated as the need arises.
Wind: Temporary service changes or cancellations will be determined and updated as the need arises.
Hurricanes: Service cancellations will be based on National Weather Service Advisories.
? Other: Service will be based on National Weather Service Advisories.

  Construction Delays & Road Closures
  Accidents
  Bus Out of Service
  Traffic

 

 

Alertas
