The Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland, Transit Division (Shore Transit), operating the regional public transportation system in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties is holding a public hearing to provide citizens a forum to present views on the following proposals:

1.    Origin-to-Destination: Designated Days and Hours of Service for rural customers who live beyond ¾ mile of a fixed route and use OTD service for transportation to the nearest fixed route stop.

2.   Return of Regional Routes and Schedule Updates: The Transit Division proposes to redesign the structure of Fixed Routes for the purpose of efficiency, cost effectiveness, service needs, and ADA compliance. Changes also include elimination of stops with no/low ridership, addition of new stops, designated flag stops, and designated stops for reduced service during inclement weather.

3.    Elimination of Transfer Tickets
