Shore Transit has announced that the fiscal year 2012 Annual Transportation Plan (ATP) has been forwarded to the Maryland Transportation Administration (MTA) for review. The ATP is submitted to MTA each year requesting funding for the next fiscal year beginning each July 1st. After the initial MTA review is completed, changes may be recommended. This process may transpire several times until the MTA and Shore Transit are in agreement as to the content of the ATP.
The FY 2012 ATP is available for viewing on the shoretransit.org website by clicking on the Business Center tab and scrolling to the Annual Transportation Plan. From there the ATP can be viewed by using the Flash Player or by downloading a PDF file of the document.
In the document information can be found on the proposed FY 2012 budget, grant funding applied for, capital requests for buses and other equipment, planning and legal documents and more.
